Cooking for blind people

New technologies not only serve to design amazing gadgets and home appliances but also really useful when they can fulfill a social work, such as devices and systems designed for people with disabilities. For those suffering from blindness, Touch & Turn can be helpful because it is a cooking system that allows blind people cook delicious meals without running any risk.

While the designer does not indicate their mode of operation, it is known that the system operates from an integrated clock that allows to know the state of observing cooking without the pot. The design is by Menno Kroeze who worked with the organization Action for Blind People to come up with an electric cooker adapted to their needs.
