Taking advantage of today, 29 October, marks the international day of stroke, we will report the website of the Spanish Federation of Stroke (http://www.ictusfederacion.org/).
The Federation brings together 6 associations of patients nationwide who work for more and better dissemination of the disease and the consequences it entails for those who suffer and their environment.
With the aim of having a wider dissemination of their activities, we offer you this website where you will find information about the daily life of the Federation and some resources to help individuals and families living close stroke.
As you know the consequences of having a stroke may affect cognitive and physical capacities of individuals, assuming, in many cases, a major cause for the functional diversity of people.
ICTs are, as in other cases of disability, an important tool in cognitive rehabilitation of these patients and also a great tool to overcome utlilidad mobility and communication problems that accompany the disease.
