Students of the College of Computer, Electronics and Robotics France (ESIEA) have developed two prototypes of technical aids for people with disabilities, according to this school through their website.

The first is a computer mouse for children with disabilities that reduce the strength and mobility of hands, which prevents them from using conventional mice.

This mouse can be handled with gentle movements of the fingers, thanks to a sophisticated infrared receiver, and allows access to all functions of the computer and the Internet.

The device is shaped like a teddy bear, to make it more attractive to smaller, as it was designed for children with myopathy, muscle disease that causes deterioration in the framework of a competition funded by the Association for the Struggle against Myopathy in France.

The second prototype is a camera that functions as electronic magnifier for users with visual impairment, and the documents that can be expanded in both paper and computer screens.

Also, the magnifying glass has a telephoto lens to view objects long distances and zoom to expand its details, and includes tools for stabilizing large images and adjust color and contrast.

The device can also store images for later use, which allows its user to hold documents expanded at any time, especially useful feature lists of the purchase or transport planes.
